BEFORE YOU EMAIL ME HERE’S SOME Q&A:
updated: Jan 27, 2026

Q: Are you available to do illustrations/comics for publication x?
A: Sometimes; I’ll be honest with you, I’m not the fastest with turnaround and I’m not the greatest at illustrating factual things (historical, peoples’ stories, anything involving portraits that can’t/shouldn’t look creepy etc) and it stresses me way the hell out bc I get real worked up about trying to get things accurate. I am more likely to say yes if:
- you hiring me for my specific style
- loose prompts
- I do not illustrate for other people’s scripts
- you give me carte blanche on themes like like ghosts, monsters, horror in general, killing fascists, Sadness, gay shit etc.
- ur also Indigiqueer

Q: Do you do logos?
A: Not really, and I don’t do logo contests. I think it’s better to do some research and hire someone whose work you like and then pay them well.

Q: Do you design tattoos
A: I haven’t done this before but I have been asked! I’d say I’m open to designing anything around 5x5 inches. I do not tattoo, so you will have to secure your own tattooist and see if they’re okay tattooing a design by someone else. You can also put us in touch with one another if they want confirmation.

Q: …are you a comic artist/illustrator?
A: I would say comic artist sometimes, and illustrator no. I have taken on illustration work but it’s a very commercial industry practice for the most part and I have no ambitions to make it my main source of income. I’ll do this type of work for projects that I feel align with my values and if I have the capacity but beyond that no thank-you.

If you need an Indigenous illustrator, here are some better bets than me: Cole Pauls | bailey macabre | stankdaddy | Mangeshig Pawis-Steckley | Maya McKibben | Jordanna George

Q: How much do you charge for x/y/z?

A: It’s gotta be a minimum CARFAC rate. And if you’re an institution and can do better than that, do better than that.

Q: Are you available to lead workshops?
A: Not really! I really struggle with leading workshops, it’s a lot of everyone staring at you while trying to do finicky things and to be completely fucking honest, I am not mentally well enough for that situation. It causes a minor meltdown in the lead-up and a total energy drain that takes me a lot of time to recover from. I’ll do the occasional one, but usually only for university/college level students.

Q: Are you available to give artists talks?
A: Yes, I don’t mind doing that, in fact a sick part of me enjoys it. I can distract you with slideshows.

Q: What type of curatorial work are you interested in doing?
A: The kind where we meet in person. I’m over organizing and trying to build relationships over computer screens. Mostly I build my own projects, but if you’re interested in approaching me to curate, I prefer for the project to mostly be based in the same city, even if it’s going to travel.

Q: Reprints?
A: Reprints are pretty much always a yes provided I am not contractually obligated to hold them back or give exclusivity to the publication.

Q: How much do you charge for x/y/z?
A: It’s gotta be a minimum CARFAC rate. And if you’re an institution and can do better than that, do better than that.
